Atlanta Headlines April 1, 2019

Georgia’s legislature has passed the heartbeat bill,  ready for the Governor’s signature following the end of the legislative session on Tuesday, April 2nd. The bill, with a theoretical start date of the first of the year, is expected to be immediately challenged.

Hollywood is threatening to pull film and television production from the State if the bill issigned into law, but otherwise, there has been minimal criticism from Georgia’s business community, which usually which usually turns a blind eye to politics that may get in the way of cash flow.
