Savannah Sheriff chooses what inmates read

Chatham County Sheriff John Wilcher has implemented a new policy forcing inmates to choose from reading materials provided by the sheriff department’s book trolley. Citing the First Amendment, the ACLU has sent a letter asking the sheriff to change his mind. The Macon Telegraph reports the sheriff sees no issue with the policy.
