Photos: Dungeon Family Reunion 2019
Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Organized Noize, Youngbloodz, and more held court at the Fox Theatre April 20
WHO: Old school players and new school fools held court at the Fox Theatre Saturday night. Big Boi of OutKast, Goodie Mob, Youngbloodz, KP the Great, Organized Noize, and more graced the stage for the Dungeon Family reunion.
WHAT: As with all great artists, it’s difficult to fully grasp the Dungeon Family’s legacy without understanding the world its finest foot soldiers inhabited. The Atlanta that set the stage for much of Goodie Mob, Big Boi, Sleepy Brown, and the rest of the collective’s greatest songwriting and production is rapidly disappearing. But the vibrant aura of the Southern hip-hop scene of the ’90s and early aughts came to life once again for this year’s Dungeon Family Reunion.
WHEN: Saturday, April 20.
WHERE: The Fox Theatre
