Thanksgiving
Peruse Thanksgiving events as well as recommendations for the best places to eat on turkey day. CL's critics & readers weigh in on the definitive guide to Thanksgiving in Atlanta.
Definitely the worst holiday to be a turkey but one of the best to spend time with family, try out new pie recipes, and catch some football in an overcrowded living room. Legend has it that the pilgrims and Native Americans put aside their differences to feast together for one night, so why not do the same thing with your permanently angered, politically outspoken uncle? Also, screw the calorie counting. This is the day to stuff yourself to the point of immobility and then retreat to the dusty recliner in your grandparents’ basement for a midday nap.
