The Atlanta Pride Festival, the largest Pride event in the Southeast and the largest event in the country to coincide with National Coming Out Day, is hosting their 49th parade and inviting members of the LGBTQ community and allies alike to join in! Celebrating all things LGBT, the annual Atlanta Pride Festivalweekend is jam-packed with a kickoff party and the Pride Parade, as well as arts, vendors, parties, and other festivities. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, October 13, at the Civic Center MARTA station, steps off at noon, and concludes at the Charles Allen gate of Piedmont Park. The Atlanta Police Department will be in charge of public safety for the duration of the parade.
