David Nahmias, son of immigrants, is sworn in as the new Chief of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
David Nahmias was elevated to his post as Georgia’s Chief Justice following 12 years on the bench as an Associate Justice. Judge Nahmais is the son of immigrants, Egyptian Father and German Mother, and graduated from Briarcliff High as was the US Attorney in Georgia overseeing a number of high profile cases during his tenure.
