Lobbyists working on behalf of tech giant Apple allegedly killed off legislation in the Georgia state legislature this year because it didn’t meet with their approval, according to an article in Politico. “(Apple) threatened to abandon key economic projects and persuaded the state attorney general to push for an Apple-friendly amendment,” the report said, adding that a similar pattern of “aggressive lobbying efforts” has emerged in other states as well. politico.com
