College Republicans and USG says it’s okay for students to off themselves by not wearing masks
The University System of Georgia is being lauded for its failure to demand that students be masked or vaccinated in the interests of “freedom.” Blake W. Bassham, chairman of the University of North Georgia College Republicans, issued a press release thanking the USG “for putting the interests of students first” and said the decision was made “under an immense amount of pressure from anti-freedom radical leftists.” But with over 653,000 COVID-19 deaths currently recorded in the U.S. — 22,000-plus in Georgia alone — it’s not about freedom, it’s about saving lives. mailchi.mp
