Mo Fayne, star of the reality TV show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” is about to serve more than 17 years in federal prison for fraud and for lying about a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan application. Charges include conspiracy and wire fraud in connection with a Ponzi scheme in which 38-year-old Fayne took money from investors that funded a lavish lifestyle of jewelry and Rolls Royces. He also blew $5 million at an Oklahoma casino, officials said. Fayne, of Dacula, Ga., will be on probation for five more years after completing his sentence and must pay his victims $4.5 million in restitution. justice.gov
