An Atlanta-based pilot and aviation lawyer says the plane crash that killed four people this month at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport may have been caused by human error and could possibly have been prevented. After examining a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board, Alan Armstrong told CBS46 the nose of the aircraft may have been positioned too high upon take-off. “It nosed up, and propelled, and because the propeller was rotating to the right, it twerks the airplane to the left and rolls it upside-down.” Armstrong said the aircraft “was not properly configured.” The single-engine Cessna P2N10, built in 1978, was en route to Houston on Oct. 8 with two adults and two teenagers on board when it lifted off the runway for roughly one thousand feet before plunging into the ground and catching fire. cbs46.com
