Refugees to reside in Airbnbs
Airbnb co-founder and Gwinnett County native Joe Gebbia is helping to provide housing in the Atlanta area to refugees from Afghanistan. The company is partnering with local outfit The Promise Homes to house up to 20,000 of the expected 100,000 Afghans coming to the United States. “These are our new neighbors,” Gebbia said.
