Firearm seizures at Atlanta’s airport spiked dramatically in the first nine months of 2021, despite a continuing reduction in passenger numbers due to the pandemic. The Transportation Security Administration discovered 391 guns in luggage at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, an increase from 220 last year.
