A prominent member of Atlanta’s Jewish community has been named by President Joe Biden to serve on the United Nations Human Rights Council, an entity that has been criticized as being hostile toward Israel. Michèle Taylor is a founder of the Or Hadash congregation in Atlanta and a past member of the U.S. Holocaust Museum Memorial Council, and is currently on the board of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. atlantajewishtimes.com
