The chairwoman of the Henry County Commission will get security protection after receiving threats and harassment on social media and through email, telephone calls and texts. Carlotta Harrell, who has held the post since January, said, “I’m tired of all the attacks. I’ve had my life threatened. I’ve had to have restraining orders taken out and issued. And I continue to be harassed.” But Harrell says she is now being attacked for the security detail itself by some of her fellow board members. “I’m tired of being accused of doing something unethical.” henryherald.com
