Data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals three cities in Georgia are in the country’s top 25 for having the highest rates of sexually transmitted diseases within their populations. Augusta is number six on the list, Savannah is ranked at 20, and Atlanta comes in at 22. “If you are sexually active, getting tested for STDs is one of the most important things you can do to protect your health,” the CDC warned in a statement. “Make sure you have an open and honest conversation about your sexual history and STD testing with your doctor.” innerbody.com
