The man who raised hackles by running a Kennesaw store full of Confederate, Nazi, and Jim Crow-era memorabilia has died. Dent “Wildman” Myers was the longtime owner of Wildman’s Civil War Shop, the site of numerous protests over the years calling for its closure due to stock consisting of Ku Klux Klan outfits, Confederate flags, Nazi artifacts, and dolls of African American children with racist caricatures. It is not yet clear if the shop will remain open. ajc.com
