The White House Commission on Presidential Scholars has picked three high school seniors from Georgia to be among its 2022 honorees. Charlye Allen from Blakely, Ty Anthony Hubert from Canton, and Ayush Gundawar from Cumming were chosen for their accomplishments in academics, the arts, and career and technical fields.

The names were announced Thursday by U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, who applauded the scholars’ “pursuit of knowledge, generosity of spirit, and exceptional talents (that) bring our nation tremendous pride.” ed.gov
