‘Learn how to deal with city’
Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management is holding an introductory session next week for minority business owners to learn how to deal with city procedures and protocols. The DWM describes the project as an intensive training program for small, minority, female, and/or disadvantaged contractors and consultants which helps them “build their capacity to compete for DWM capital improvement projects.” The initial session is taking place on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Old City Council Chambers, 68 Mitchell Street from 9 to 11 a.m. Register here: atlantawatershed.org
