One of Atlanta’s longest running breweries, Atlanta Brewing Company (known as Red Brick Brewing at one time) on the Westside has shut its doors… but only temporarily. They’ll be moving to a new location in Underground Atlanta later this year. Stay tuned!

The people at Wild Heaven Beer are celebrating their twelfth anniversary the weekend of Sept. 9-11.  They’ll have live music, giveaways, food specials, and more at their locations in both Avondale and the West End. Check out our Wild Heaven Beer podcast!

Sweetwater Brewing Company in Midtown is throwing a Super Jam Saturday, Sept. 10, from 8-11 p.m. with live music, and of course, their great beer!

Jekyll Brewing is holding its second annual The Beat Goes On event sponsored by the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1-8 p.m. This will be held at the Marconi Drive location with food trucks, live music, and, of course beer, fun, and college football on the TV. There will be a silent auction to raise money for ACHA. Ticket price also includes a six-pack to go. Tickets available here.

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer at Gate City Brewing Company in Roswell Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1-10 p.m. Expect Gate City Pup merch, live music, pet adoptions from LifeLine Animal Project, and a mini-market with dog specific vendors. One dollar from each drink sold will go to Lifeline!

Saturday, Sept. 17, join Cherry Street Brewpub at Halcyon in Alpharetta at noon for their three year anniversary party featuring German eats and brews, a triple bottle release, four German-style beer tappings, live music and more! Burnt Hickory Brewery in Kennesaw is celebrating Oktoberfest on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18, with live music, beer, food, and special glassware. The first 25 to attend each day will get a free glass!

Celebrate with Scofflaw Brewing Co. on the Westside as they mark their sixth anniversary — basement style — Sat., Sept. 17, starting at 6 p.m. They’ll have junk food, sports, video games, hunch punch, old couches, comic books, and more (yes, the baby goats will be there)! They’ll also have stuff to do for the kids… but ax throwing is for the adults!

The fifth annual Tucktoberfest celebration at Tucker Brewing Company is occurring Sept. 17 through Oct. 2 (the actual dates of Oktoberfest in Munich) with stein holding, games, live music, polka bands, German menu specials, and of course their Tucktoberfest Marzen Lager. The Westside Fall Beer Fest takes place Saturday, Sept. 24 from 2-6 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Food Works. It will feature 20 different fall beers, ciders, and seltzers from ten different local breweries, live music, and food stalls. Tickets available here.

The Westside’s Second Self Beer Company is hosting a benefit for Atlanta firefighters Saturday, Sept. 24, from noon to 5 p.m.  They’ll have a pop-up market, food trucks, games, and, yes, great beer. Check out our Second Self Beer podcast!

In Lilburn, Blackbird Farms Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest the same Saturday, Sept. 24, starting at 2 p.m.  Included will be a live polka band from 4-6 as well as a food truck and great beer.

Mutation Brewing Company in Sandy Springs hosts their first ever Oktoberfest celebration Sept. 26 through Oct. 2 with BBQ specials and live music Friday and Saturday. The limited edition package gets you a special one-liter stein, a t-shirt, your first pour for free, and $8 one-liter beer refills!

Paint like Bob Ross at Cultivation Brewery in Norcross Tues., Sept. 27, starting at 6 p.m. with, yes, certified Bob Ross painting instructor Jeremy Rogers!  Your ticket includes all the paint materials you need. Awkward Brewing in Fayetteville celebrates Awktoberfest Sept. 30 to Oct. 1 with music, Bavarian food, and lots of Awkward fun!

Horned Owl Brewing in Kennesaw is celebrating their second annual Oktoberfest Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 with German-style beers, food trucks, and all things Oktoberfest!

Check out Comedy Night on the Lawn Fri., Sept. 30, at Second Self Beer Company on the Westside from 8-10:30 p.m.  It is absolutely free and absolutely adults-only.

Reformation Brewery (Woodstock) is having an Oktoberfest Party on Saturday, Oct. 1, starting at 2 p.m. VIP tickets include a boot glass, access to the VIP tent, two beer tickets, a six-pack of Reformation Oktoberfest to take home, and a hat to keep you cool. StillFire Brewing in Suwanee will have their Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2, featuring five authentic German-style beers, live German music, and a costume contest.  A $10 cover starts at 3 p.m. each day.

Sunday, Oct. 2, from 1-5 p.m. join Gate City Brewing Company for the Gate City Makers Market. They’ll have over a dozen local and regional artisans and independent craftspeople.

Join Three Taverns Craft Brewery for a special Halloween Art Market on Saturday, Oct. 8, starting at noon. They’ll have over 15 local artists on site, as well as yummy food and some of the best beer in town!

Second Self Beer Company on the Westside is throwing a sweet event — Donut & Dessert Fest Atlanta — Sunday, Oct. 15, from 1-5 p.m., pairing donuts and other desserts with their beers.

Check out the Taste & Brews Fall Festival at Etowah River Park in Canton, GA, Sat., Oct. 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They’ll have tons of great Southern food, a vendors market, live music, and a kid zone in addition to great craft beer.

Celebrate Hare-O-Ween at Red Hare Brewing Company in Marietta on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2-7 p.m. with live music, a doggie costume competition, pumpkin painting, and more!

Friday, Nov. 4, brings MannaFest back to Pontoon Brewing Company in Sandy Springs from 6-9 p.m. Proceeds go to benefit Manna Fund which raises money to help treat and educate about eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health issues here in Atlanta. They’ll have Memphis BBQ, a live blues band and all kinds of prizes!

Cherry Street Brewing at Vickery Village in Cumming is celebrating their tenth anniversary with a full week of activities Dec. 6-12. Stay tuned for details!

Every Tuesday night, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Round Trip Brewing Company (1279 Seaboard Industrial, Atlanta), you can play speed puzzle — bring your friends and attempt to assemble a 500-piece puzzle as quickly as possible for gift cards.

New Realm Brewing Co (550 Somerset Terrace NE, Atlanta) hosts Dirty South Trivia — Geeky Smart Stuff themed trivia — and great beer Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m.

On the first and third Tuesday of the month, play Harry Potter trivia at Best End Brewing Company in the West End (1036 White St. NW, Atlanta).  They feature both OWL and NEWT level questions about a different book each month.

Wednesday

Ironshield Brewing (457 N. Chestnut St, Lawrenceville) hosts Trivia with Chim every Wednesday from 6-10 p.m. Get your thinking cap on and your drinking pants ready for a night of fun trivia and prizes!

Second Self Beer Company (1317 Logan Cir. NW, Atlanta) features TriviaLab hosting trivia every Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. with beer and food specials, prizes and house cash for your next visit.

Every Wednesday, Social Fox Brewing (20 Skin Alley, Norcross) features a trivia night from 7-9 p.m. for gift cards, beer, and other prizes for the top teams.

Reformation Brewery (Woodstock) (105 Elm St., Woodstock) has a trivia night every Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. with prizes for first, second, and third place.

New Realm Brewing Co (550 Somerset Terrace NE, Atlanta) offers Music Bingo Wednesday nights, from 7-9 p.m. They play 40 seconds of a song and you cross it off your bingo card once you you hear — and recognize — it. Every round is a different genre of music, and it is free to play!

Monkey Wrench Brewing (3425 Martin Farm Rd, Suwanee) also challenges your ears and memory with Atlanta’s Best Music Bingo every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with house cash prizes.

Thursday
