Atlantucky Brewing in Castleberry Hill is releasing Naptoberfest, a traditional Marzen, to celebrate both Oktoberfest and Nappy Roots Day on Friday, Sept. 16. The release will be accompanied by the release of a new Nappy Roots single called “Random Thoughts,” from their upcoming ninth studio album, releasing in 2023 (by the way, if you’ve been following the news, Scales is doing well!). Burnt Hickory Brewery in Kennesaw is celebrating Oktoberfest on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18, with live music, beer, food, and special glassware. The first 25 to attend each day will get a free glass!

The fifth annual Tucktoberfest celebration at Tucker Brewing Company is occurring Sept. 17 through Oct. 2 (the actual dates of Oktoberfest in Munich) with stein holding, games, live music, polka bands, German menu specials, and of course their Tucktoberfest Marzen Lager. Cultivation Brewery in Norcross will hold its second annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, Sept. 17, from noon to 9:00 p.m. They’ll have new glassware, new merch, and new festive brews along with festive cuisine!

One of Atlanta’s longest running breweries, Atlanta Brewing Company (known as Red Brick Brewing at one time) on the Westside, has shut its doors…but only temporarily. They’ll be moving to a new location in Underground Atlanta later this year. Stay tuned!

Saturday, Sept. 17, join Cherry Street Brewpub at Halcyon in Alpharetta at noon for their three year anniversary party featuring German eats and brews, a triple bottle release, four German-style beer tappings, live music and more! Second Self Beer Company on the Westside is throwing a sweet event — Donut & Dessert Fest Atlanta — Sunday, Oct. 15, from 1-5 p.m., pairing donuts and other desserts with their beers.

Check out the Taste & Brews Fall Festival at Etowah River Park in Canton, GA, Sat., Oct. 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They’ll have tons of great Southern food, a vendors market, live music, and a kid zone in addition to great craft beer.

Friday, Nov. 4, brings MannaFest back to Pontoon Brewing Company in Sandy Springs from 6-9 p.m. Proceeds go to benefit Manna Fund which raises money to help treat and educate about eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health issues here in Atlanta.
