Better than Atlanta failing
Good news for Atlanta—we lowered our smog numbers, according to the EPA. Bad news is that this was accomplished during the pandemic, when a lot less cars were on the road. According to an article in the AJC, we just barely squeaked by the standards in 2021. A failing grade would have forced Georgians to use a lower emitting gasoline formula which would add to already high fuel prices.
