NEWS BRIEF: Decatur Book Festival announces new date for keynote author Pete Souza

The Decatur Book Festival has announced a rescheduled date for its keynote speaker. The original Sep. 30 event was scuttled by the threat of Hurricane Ian. Pete Souza, author of The West Wing And Beyond: What I Saw Inside The Presidency, will now appear on Friday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Decatur, 308 Clairemont Avenue. Organizers say Souza will project rarely-seen photographs and tell stories from the book, and afterwards will take questions from the audience. Details: eventbrite.com
