The Suwanee Beer Fest was just named the number one beer festival in the country by USA Today! Congratulations to everyone involved — hard work pays off!

Round Trip Brewing Company on the Westside will be open in the afternoon and some mornings so futbol fans can do what those attending the FIFA World Cup live in Qatar can’t do — drink beer! — from now through December 17. For many of the matches, food vendors will be creating country-specific cuisine.  Round Trip will also be the official bar of Son of Pitches for various matches. Dry County Brewing Company in Kennesaw is hosting Craft for a Cause in collaboration with Viva Chicken, bringing great food and beer together to benefit the KSU Cares Food Pantry Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2-6 p.m.  They’ll have giveaways, collectible cups and a cornhole competition. Three Taverns Craft Brewery in Decatur is holding their Holiday Art Market pop up Saturday, Dec. 10, starting at noon featuring over 15 local artists, cold beer, and handmade food. Free to attend. Check out our Three Taverns podcast!

Chamblee’s Contrast Artisan Ales celebrates their second anniversary Saturday, Dec. 12 from 1-11 p.m. with live music, an artist market, food trucks, commemorative glassware, and great beers!

Cherry Street Brewing at Vickery Village in Cumming is celebrating their tenth anniversary with a full week of activities Dec. 6-12. Stay tuned for details!

Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., join Slow Pour Brewing Company in Lawrenceville for Bingo for A Cause, a benefit for MACS Friends Animal Rescue.  They’ll also have a food truck and great prizes!

Check out Winter Wanderland at Little Cottage Brewery and The Lost Druid Brewstillery in Avondale Estates Saturday, Dec. 10, from noon to 5 p.m.  Wander from place to place checking out Santa, Elsa, and the Art-Bominal Snowman  while you shop throughout downtown Avondale Estates — eat, drink, and be merry! Second Self Beer Company on the Westside is holding Ugly Sweater Sunday Funday Bingo to raise money for Georgia English Bulldog Rescue Sunday, Dec. 11, from 1-4 p.m.  Make sure you and your pup wear your ugly sweaters for a raffle ticket! Second Self will also be donating a percentage of their beer sales to the bullies (Though bullying in any way, shape, or form is not condoned). 

Saturday, Dec. 17 from 1-11 p.m., join Awkward Brewing in Fayetteville for a Santa-Themed Event to benefit Toys for Tots.

On Saturday, Dec. 17, Red Hare Brewing & Distilling in Marietta hosts their Ugly Holiday Sweater Party! starting at 2 p.m, featuring live music, holiday cocktails, and limited small batch beers.  Tickets include your first beer, a commemorative pint glass, and a donation to Toys for Tots.  Tickets available here. New Realm Brewing Co (550 Somerset Terrace NE, Atlanta) offers Music Bingo Wednesday nights, from 7-9 p.m. They play 40 seconds of a song and you cross it off your bingo card once you hear — and recognize — it. Every round is a different genre of music, and it is free to play!

Monkey Wrench Brewing (3425 Martin Farm Rd, Suwanee) also challenges your ears and memory with Atlantas Best Music Bingo every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with house cash prizes.

Thursday

Ironshield Brewing (457 N. Chestnut St, Lawrenceville) features Game Board Night with the Gwinnett Board Game Society every other Thursday from 6-9 p.m. More info available here.

Social Fox Brewing (20 Skin Alley, Norcross) holds an open mic night every Thursday from 7-10 p.m. It is absolutely free to attend, and you can sign up to perform at 6 p.m. (in-person only).

Join Round Trip Brewing Company (1279 Seaboard Ind., Atlanta) every Thursday from 7 to 9:15 p.m. for Dirty South Trivia and a chance to win gift cards for your next visit!

Saturday and Sunday

The first Saturday of each month, Eventide Brewing (1015 Grant St. SE, Atlanta) in Grant Park hosts Hops and Flow Beer Yoga — an all-levels yoga class and beer for $15 — bring your mat, a towel, and plenty of water.

Reformation Brewery (Woodstock) (105 Elm St., Woodstock) has Yoga on Tap on the first, third, and fifth Saturday of each month, plus a free pint or cup of coffee!

Join Blue Tarp Brewing Co (2316 Main St, Tucker) Saturdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for Bend and Brew. Start your Saturday with yoga, then enjoy some VIP time with your first beer before doors open.

Social Fox Brewing (20 Skin Alley, Norcross) features a Social Sunday Brunch every Sunday from 1-8 p.m. with beermosas, belmosas, beer slushies, seltzers and craft beer.
