You’d think Atlanta’s current obsession with building shiny new things of no cultural value would somehow find a way to water down the local music scene. Wrong. Enter: Ohmpark Fest. Like the now defunct blog from which it bares its name, Ohmpark is arguably one city’s best places to discover independent artists. In partnership with Deer Bear Wolf, this year’s edition of Ohmpark Fest brings 11 acts - Sea Ghost, CoCo and Clair Clair (pictured above), Flamingo Shadow, 10th Letter, and more - to the stages of the EARL and 529. East Atlanta will be the epicenter of the indie, DIY spirit that even a Hard Rock Hotel couldn’t shake.
