The Faint, Gang of Four, Pictureplane
From the venue:
More than two decades have passed since the Faint plunged into industrial rock with 1999's Blank-Wave Arcade. While other groups might become stale with age, the Omaha, Nebraska, dance-punk outfit has remained true to form. On 2014's Doom Abuse, the group's first album since returning from a long hiatus, jarring synthesizers populate every corner as singer Todd Fink lays out lyrics ruminating on bleak visions for the future. Be prepared for a comprehensive set, as the group arrives in Atlanta on the heels of releasing a career retrospective titled Capsule: 1999-2016 (Saddle Creek).
