Dedicated to the blues singer Howlin’ Wolf, Wolf Fest returns to Northside Tavern for its 13th year of celebrating the legend’s songs and career. Wolf Fest began in 2001, when the Atlanta blues band the Breeze Kings put its love for Wolf to the test, covering Northside Tavern’s walls with pictures of the singer and playing nothing but Wolf songs well into the night. Wolf Fest 2017 will feature performances by Atlanta blues performers, including Ross Pead, Frankie’s Blues Mission, the Cazanovas, the Vipers, Larry Griffith, Dry White Toast, Funky Bluester and, of course, the Breeze Kings.
