Even though President Trump’s explicitly discriminatory travel ban continues to be thwarted in court, it has still spread waves of animosity against refugees. Such a xenophobic political climate makes organizations like the International Rescue Committee (IRC) all the more crucial. Some of Atlanta’s punk luminaries are combining forces to raise money for the IRC in solidarity with its mission to provide essential services to refugees. The lineup features an array of talent representing the breadth of Atlanta punk, from Fishmonger’s bare-knuckles thrashing to Shepherds’ soulful dissonance. All proceeds will be donated directly to the IRC.
