The Atlanta PodPlays: a series of walking audio stories

Saturday July 15, 2017 05:00 PM EDT
Cost: Free,

From the venue:

Found Stages will be onsite with Little Five Arts Alive as part of a public art event celebrating the creative culture of Little 5 Points and Atlanta on Saturday, July 15th at 5-8pm at Findley Plaza: corner of Moreland and Euclid Avenues.

The Atlanta PodPlays is a series of walking audio stories that take place throughout Little Five Points. Rather than watching a live performance, you will use earbuds/headphones to listen to the plays on your smartphone as you walk through the neighborhood. The entire experience lasts about an hour, and reveals fascinating facts and little known history during the 1970's and 80's restoration period in Little 5 Points. The experience will inspire listeners to more carefully explore their neighborhood and its history.

Found Stages will provide maps to navigate the audio journey, historical photos from neighborhood archives, and souvenir postcards.

A smart phone and earbuds are required to take part in this original theatre experience.
