<br>Born in the caves of Ukraine, Hershel Greenblat survived because of the resourcefulness and determination of his parents in evading the Nazis. As he states, “It is because of my parents’ unwavering will that we were able to survive the horrors of the Holocaust.” When the family settled in Atlanta, Hershel learned how to become an American as well as an active member of his southern community.


A guided tour of our Holocaust Gallery will be given at 12:30 PM.

Dolce Café lunch items will be available for purchase from 12pm – 1:30pm

Mr. Greenblat will be telling his remarkable Holocaust story beginning at 2:00 PM.

Free admission to the 2018 Bearing Witness Series is provided through a generous gift from The Sara Giles Moore Foundation.
