Thousands of families in Georgia and the southeast have been left homeless and suffering in the wake of spring’s natural disasters. Helping them is as easy as eating dinner. Doc Chey’s and other area restaurants have pulled together for a month-long campaign to help raise money for the Red Cross’s disaster relief efforts. Every Wednesday restaurants in Grant Park, Morningside, Virginia Highland and Emory Village will donate 15% of your dinner bill directly to the Red Cross. On July 13, dine from 5 p.m. to close at Doc Chey’s, Family Dog, Rosebud and Yoforia in Morningside.
