From the venue:
Bring a lampshade that’s seen better days and have fun creating a whimsical new one. The more ornate the frame, the better but make sure it has splines and isn’t a top and a bottom held together by fabric. We’ll wrap, glue and tie them with fabric, rope, beads and other fun things you can come up with. Supplies provided but feel free to bring things from home too. When you’re done, you’ll have a functional lampshade or one that could be used as a chandelier or mobile. There are all sorts of uses for your new shade! Age 16+.
