Jeffrey Whittle will exhibit artwork for a three week exhibition at XXO Gallery. The exhibition will open on November 5th and run through November 20th. An artist reception is Saturday, November 14th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Gallery hours are Thursday and Friday 12-4 p.m. Speaking In Tongues is a body of work created from disparate approaches stitched together through a love of pattern and the notion of mapping. Jeffrey’s decompartmentalizing series of patterns becomes ocean, sky, reflection, and metaphor occupying day time, night time, dream time… the histories of decisions made in contemplation and improvisation. Everything becomes a path.
