Graves at Sea, Order of the Owl, KR’RTH, Carnivora
Sunday April 10, 2016 08:00 PM EDT
Cost: $10-$12
From the venue:
Since forming in 2002, Graves at Sea has never released a full-length — until April 1. That’s when the band dropped The Curse That Is. Though the guitar tone reeks of Matt Pike’s (Sleep, High on Fire) influence, and, thus, copious amounts of green, the group’s sludgy sound is rooted in hardcore. Fitting, then, because if The Curse That Is promises anything, it’s that there’s pain in extreme heat — and, duh, heroin addiction. See what you make of it when Graves at Sea levels East Atlanta — and laughs.
