Atlanta local and Georgia State graduate Lacey Longino brings the heat to her solo exhibition, Burnt Popcorn. Her painting aesthetic is most commonly recognized by the use of popcorn, patterns, and portraits depicted in her pieces. The artist’s work has been showcased at the Mammal Gallery, the Goat Farm, and MOCA, among other venues. She also painted murals for six Taco Mac locations, Hugo’s Oyster Bar in Roswell, and Yomi Gaming. Specializing in oil painting and charcoal drawing, Longino’s works leave the audience wanting to grab some fresh kernels on the way home to pop. Longino posts up shop in the West End to showcase her tasteful creative vision with a new show.
