The Decatur Book Festival turns 10 this year, encouraging even more literate mayhem to break loose. A highly family-friendly event, the agenda includes plenty of sessions fit for kids, such as a talk from Girls Rock Camp’s Laurie Ray (Teen Stage, Saturday at 10 a.m.). Grown folks have lots to enjoy, too, including a keynote celebrating the life and works of Pat Conroy (Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Friday at 8 p.m., featuring Cassandra King Conroy, Rick Bragg, and other family and friends. Also expect hot takes from the graphic novel universe, poetry readings, workshops, and more.
