Since Amy Stufflebeam co-founded Bleux Stockings Society at the top of the year, the live lit group — now also helmed by Rita Nicole Leslie — has put a whole new spin on Atlanta’s live lit scene by creating a platform for marginalized Atlanta voices. But the monthly reading event gets put on ice this month to party. On Mon., Sept. 26, the society presents Girls to the Front, a benefit concert featuring Atlanta-based female, trans, and non-binary musicians. The scheduled lineup at the Earl will include performances from Tantrum, Man Up, Yancey, and Till Someone Loses An Eye, with door proceeds to go to the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
