When it opened in 1970, Norman, Is That You? was the first play to treat homosexuality in an entirely open and comedic manner, inaugurating a new era of acceptance. Out of Box Theatre presents a recently updated version of this classic farce. After his wife ditches him for his own brother, Ben heads to New York to find his adult son, Norman. Instead of the reassurance he’s seeking, Ben is shocked to discover the truth of his son’s sexual orientation, and again when he meets his son’s flamboyant, elitist boyfriend.
