Japanese psych-lords Acid Mothers Temple have been melting minds since 1995. On Mon., May 11, the group returns supporting its latest album, Benzaiten (out May 26). “Trip-music†innovators Higashi Hiroshi and Kawabata Makoto have worked alongside a multitude of experimental musicians to form collectives such the Melting Paraiso U.F.O. and the Cosmic Inferno, combining noise, drone, krautrock, free-form jazz, and blues to sculpt psychoactive landscapes in the cosmos of your mind.
