Spivey Hall launches its 25th Season in October, with renowned pianist Angela Hewitt performing two special recitals programmed specifically to celebrate Spivey’s milestone anniversary. Hewitt is perhaps best known as a consummate interpreter of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, having performed and recorded on piano all of his works composed for the non-organ keyboard instruments of his time. Her two recitals will prominently feature her insightful interpretations of several of Bach’s works including his towering masterpiece, The Art of Fugue.
