Now in its ninth year, the Decatur Book Festival is bringing more than 600 authors to downtown Decatur. To kick off the weekend, Joyce Carol Oates will be the keynote speaker at Emory’s Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. With more than 15 stages featuring emerging and award-winning authors, discussions, panels, performances, art, and music, this is your chance to hear from the source about your favorite novel and discover a few new ones as well.
