It’s taken over Old Fourth Ward and downtown. It’s been to Virginia-Highland and Inman Park. This weekend, the fast-growing, no-cars-allowed, human-powered street festival known as Atlanta Streets Alive comes to the city’s most iconic thoroughfare. Nearly three miles of Peachtree Street between downtown and Midtown will be closed on Sunday to give pedestrians and bicyclists room to roam, relax, and reclaim the road. Don’t miss the bike parade, live performances and music, or the experience of frolicking in the shadow of Atlanta’s skyscrapers.
