On June 15, Cypress Street Pint and Plate, Major League Eating, and Nathan’s Famous are bringing a hot dog-eating eating contest of epic proportions to Midtown. Beginning at 11 a.m., the event will feature a 10-minute all-you-can-eat Nathan’s hot dog challenge and will pit local eaters against professionals. Guests are encouraged to show up early to grab a front-row seat and a cold pint of Shmaltz Brewing Company’s Coney Island Albino Python or Mermaid Pilsner before the competitive action begins at 1 p.m sharp.
