African-American History Exhibit

North DeKalb Mall hosts African-American history through sight and sound. The free exhibit presents more than 8,000 artifacts that chronologically display the historical passage of black Americans from their roots to present-day America. The free exhibit is housed at a store space in the Macy’s wing of North DeKalb Mall. The exhibit features meet and greet sessions with story tellers, local authors, historical leaders and activities such as Wheel of Knowledge, Black History Quiz, Who I Am Computer Game, and more. Mr. James Horton, the collector, will be present to greet visitors and answer questions during regular mall hours.
