Tired of not having a voice inside the Gold Dome? Join others to protest outside it. Moral Mondays, the protest movement that motivated thousands of North Carolina residents to engage in civil disobedience (and sometimes get arrested) over issues such as funding cuts to social programs and voting rights, heads to Georgia. On Mon., Jan. 13, the first day of the legislative session, protesters will kick off the weekly event at 4 p.m. and lobby state lawmakers over Georgia’s lack of participation in expanding Medicaid.
