SweetWater’s 17th Anniversary Party

If SweetWater Brewing Company were a human being, it would be a hobbit-haired high schooler with senioritis. Translation: Atlanta’s flagship local brewery is turning 17 and it’s time to party. For its 17th Anniversary Party this weekend, SweetWater will pour rare brews from the cellar to taste along with beers from its limited Dank Tank lineup. There will be live music from Like a Locomotive, food trucks, and everyone there will go home with a souvenir anniversary pint glass. But that’s not all. SweetWater is busting out the big guns and releasing a sexy Saison-style ale (9 percent ABV) to celebrate. The commemorative brew will debut on draft at the party and then make a limited run on taps and 22-ounce bombers across the Southeast at the end of the month.
