One-Woman Play ‘Fighting for the Title’ at Spelman College for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In recognition of October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Spelman College presents “Fighting for the Title,†a one-woman musical written, produced and performed by award-winning gospel artist Delores Burgess. In the play, Burgess blends her voice in R&B, gospel and blues styles to depict nine characters and share her triumphant and traumatic battle with breast cancer. The play will be held in Baldwin Burroughs Theater. Admission to the play is free and open to the public.
