Long-running party night Sloppy Seconds celebrates its 75th edition, and Los Angeles DJ RL Grime headlines with a goosebumpy Halloween sound. Layering dirty hip-hop beats with old-school techno rave effects and ethereal samples and sounds, Grime resurrects '80s and '90s rap while incorporating forward-thinking electro with a grimy underbelly. Grime's schizophrenic brand of electronica will be a welcome addition to Sloppy Seconds' rave-like atmosphere.
