AIS Big3 3v3 Basketball tournament to raise money for NBA cares

Three varsity basketball students from the Atlanta International School are hosting a city-wide bracket-style tournament on Friday, March 23, 2018 to raise money for NBA Cares.The tournament from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday night will have multiple teams of 3 players each. The teams will be put in a bracket similar to the NCAA college tournament going on right now, but this tournament will complete in one night because each “game” is only 6 minutes long. So far, the boys have gathered 16 teams from a range of schools, including AIS, Holy Innocents, and Westminster. The tournament will include middle schoolers and high schoolers, and teams may be single gender or co-ed. Each team donates $15 to participate in the tournament. Prizes include $75 but the rest of the proceeds go to NBA Cares.
