The nonprofit organization Origins of Femininity Inc., is celebrating the history of Black Women and the every so lovely “Church Hats” that they adorn every Sunday. There is a wonderful history surrounding the start and purpose of this glamorous accessory that so many black women have come to know as commonplace at many religious events. Join us at Mary Mac’s Tea Room as we enjoy great food and inspiration for our first fundraiser of the year.
