Dog Days of Summer

Tall Tales Book Shop and Lifeline Animal Project of DeKalb County have teamed up to present a combination book sale and dog-adoption event on Sunday, August 5 from 12:30 to 6:00 PM in the Toco Hills Shopping Center.

The celebration will feature adorable and adoptable dogs from the DeKalb Animal Shelter as well as a large assortment of dog-related books for sale. Nationally renowned author Melissa Fay Greene will be on hand from 4:00 to 5:00 PM to sign copies of her most recent book, The Underdogs: Children, Dogs and the Power of Unconditional Love. If you buy any book and/or dog, you will also receive a homemade biscuit to share with your favorite pooch.
